MOBRO
200K

60 LAPS. NEVER ALONE.
Matt & Dan are running roughly 200 kilometres around Newcastle — 60 laps, one for every man lost to suicide every hour.

The challenge

200 kilometres. 60 laps. One community.

We’re bringing this year’s challenge home to Newcastle. Instead of disappearing down a highway, we’ll return to the same hub every lap — so people can come down, run with us, support us and help carry the challenge through the night.

Back to our routes

From 60km to the MOBRO200K.

The whole thing started with a simple challenge: move 60 kilometres for Movember. Since then the distances have grown, the ideas have got more ridiculous, and the reason behind them has only become more important.

Last year’s Sydney-to-Newcastle run showed us what we were capable of — but it also showed us what we were missing. The route made it hard for friends, family and the wider community to be part of it. This year we’re changing that.

Run one lap. Run ten. Cheer from the hub. Just don’t let us do it alone.

Come be part of it

Pick a time. Join the story.

Time slots are the main way to join. Each one also shows a rough projected lap and distance, so you can see where we expect to be in the challenge.

Prototype only: registrations are saved on this device for now. Shared live counts come in V3.

Back the cause

Move for men. Show up for each other.

The MOBRO200K is built around Movember’s Move 60 idea and the number 60 itself. If running isn’t your thing, you can still be part of the challenge by coming down to the hub, supporting through the night or donating to our Movember page.

Quick info

What people will want to know.

Do I have to run?

No. Come to the hub, cheer, hang out or support a quiet part of the night.

How far is one lap?

Roughly 3.34 km. The final route is still being tested and refined.

Can I do more than one lap?

Absolutely. One lap, five laps, ten laps — stay as long as you like.

What if the boys are behind schedule?

All lap and distance information shown beside time slots is projected. The clock is the thing to plan around.
